Terms of service

Our terms,
kept readable.

Plain-language rules for using Cpal — what you can do, what we can do, and what happens when something goes wrong.

DRAFT — pending legal review These terms are a working draft published alongside the marketing site. They are not binding. The final terms will be reviewed by counsel and re-published with an effective date. Questions: legal@cridge.app.

Last updated: 2026-05-08. Status: DRAFT.

1. Acceptance

By using Cpal — the marketing site at cridge.app and the Cpal mobile app — you agree to these terms. Cpal is operated by ZHAI LTD ("Cpal", "we", "us"). If you don't agree, please don't use Cpal.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to use Cpal. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract where you live. By creating an account you confirm both.

3. Your account

You're responsible for the security of your account credentials and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us quickly if you suspect unauthorised use: admin@cridgeai.com.

4. How you may use Cpal

You may use Cpal to:

  • Discover verified local guides in supported cities.
  • Send and receive messages, comments, and roses.
  • Build a profile that represents you honestly.
  • Meet people in person if both parties consent.

5. How you may not use Cpal

You may not:

  • Harass, threaten, or stalk anyone.
  • Post hate speech, sexual content directed at strangers, or content that depicts minors in any sexualised way.
  • Misrepresent your identity, age, or city.
  • Use Cpal for illegal activity, scams, or to solicit money outside the platform.
  • Attempt to extract data, scrape profiles, or run automated tools against Cpal.
  • Try to circumvent verification, blocking, or reporting systems.

6. Content you post

You keep ownership of the content you post on Cpal. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show, and adapt that content for the purpose of running Cpal. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account (subject to backup retention).

You're responsible for what you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

7. Meeting in person

Cpal is an introduction service, not a guarantor. We facilitate connections; we don't supervise the meetings that follow. When you meet someone in person, follow basic safety practice — meet in public places, tell someone your plans, trust your instincts. See our trust & safety page for more.

Cpal is not liable for the conduct of users you meet through the service. By using Cpal you accept this risk.

8. Trust and safety actions

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access when our community guidelines or these terms are broken. We try to give notice and a chance to respond, but for serious cases (safety risks, illegal activity, repeated abuse) we act first.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app or by emailing admin@cridgeai.com. We can terminate access if you break these terms or if running your account would expose us to legal risk.

10. Changes to the service

We'll keep evolving Cpal. We may add, change, or remove features. We'll do our best to notify you of significant changes — for material reductions in service, with reasonable notice.

11. Disclaimers

Cpal is provided "as is". We don't promise the service will always be available, error-free, or that any specific connection will lead anywhere. We exclude implied warranties to the maximum extent allowed by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Cpal and ZHAI LTD are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars — whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).

13. Disputes

We hope to resolve any concern by talking. Email legal@cridge.app first. If a formal dispute can't be avoided, it'll be resolved in the courts of the governing-law jurisdiction below.

14. Governing law

Governing law placeholder — to be confirmed (likely United Kingdom) before these terms go live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version with a fresh effective date. For material changes we'll notify you by email.
